Medical Biller/Accounts Receivable Specialist
Requirements
The applicant must have outstanding oral and written communications; detail oriented; excellence in patient relations; at least three (3) years revenue cycle management experience; and a comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable management in an out-patient healthcare setting. This position requires strong working knowledge of insurance carriers, pre-certification procedures, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, modifiers, coding and documentation guidelines. In addition, strict adherence to accounts receivable policies as outlined in office protocol is required.
Job Summary
Responsible for all facets of billing and accounts receivable management for medicine, chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, mental wellness, clinical nutrition and women’s wellness. Duties include: payment posting, customer service and claim follow-up in accordance with AMW protocol with an emphasis on maximizing patient satisfaction and profitability. Also responsible for reviewing the physician’s coding to ensure accuracy and medical necessity with claim submission, timely submissions, and assisting with submitting insurance claims both electronically and on paper as needed.

Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Requirements
The applicant must have outstanding oral and written communications; detail oriented; at least two (2) years’ experience in an outpatient setting or in a hospital or clinic; experience with EMRs and clinical note taking; familiarity with medical terminology; and superior patient relation skills. Knowledge of insurance requirements, coding, and prior authorizations helpful, but not essential.
Job Summary
Applicant will be responsible for:
- All aspects of compassionate, comprehensive patient care;
- Preparing patients for appointments, including intake of information and vital signs;
- Attending patient examinations and assisting physicians with all procedures and testing, including EKG’s and spirometry;
- Entering proper documentation for Electronic Health Records;
- Phlebotomy;
- Engaging with patients on follow up calls and after care, including at home testing kits;
- Maintaining, updating and insuring compliance with regard to patient’s charts/records;
- Maintaining and insuring strict compliance on all office processes and protocols;
- Maintaining patient scheduling requirements to insure the most efficient flow of patient interactions;
- Continuing allied medical education;
- Interaction with pharmacies and vendors;
- Administrative compliance, including proper management of documentation

Full Time Administrative Assistant – Accounts Management
Requirements
The applicant must have outstanding oral and written communications; detail oriented; excellence in computer accuracy and functionality, particularly in Word and Excel; excellence in patient relations; and at least three (3) years as an administrative assistant in a fast-paced, productive setting.
Job Summary
Responsible for verifying and posting all patient insurance information accurately and completely; navigating multiple computer applications for interpreting financial and insurance information for data entry into our EHR; organizing and filing medical information appropriately into EHR; responsible for sending patient statements as well as other correspondence; performing clerical duties as may be appropriate to support our revenue cycle management team while prioritizing and organizing work assignments; completing other/varied tasks as necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
